Pīti Whero Hupa


Stage 1


1 large Beetroot
Leave in skin 


Remove billy lid

 
& bottom

Immerse in boiling water



Simmer for half an hour



Turn beet root over
Simmer for another half an hour





Turn off
Leave to marinate in stockpot
For the day 



Take the pieces that you removed to the garden
and bury at the roots of the plant not on them
